but, I agree with Florida on this notion.
The need to spice up the receiving corps, whether by TE, or WR is intense.
folks aren't paying to watch 9 points or less being put on the board. So, even with a class of exceptional CBs, tickets and interest aren't being furnished with more defensive players. And McVay wasn't hired to let Wade have the pick of the litter in this draft class, nor will Demoff and Snead survive in a city that expects to be entertained.
now, even with that said, the best of nfl men let the draft come to them and don't blink in midst of playing chicken. so, yeah......incredible talent that falls in your lap? don't blow it.
however, the best friend to a QB in trouble is a big target, and it's why I push tight end, and a tall slot wr to the top of rams board. And, I'll agree again......that i'd expect to see the Rams first 2 out of the 3 picks to go to McVay's side of the ball. Even with a top defensive pick for Wade in the 2nd; the drama to get some punch on the offensive side of the ball handled in this draft is critical.
