could be decent depth

Thomas was better in 2016. I liked him actually. But Walker is 3 years younger and if all they need from him is to be their 7th or 8th DL he can be that.

Seems like he was pretty good in New Orleans in 2013 and 2014. Started off well in Detroit in 2015 before breaking his leg on a cheap shot. Underperformed in 2016 and lost his starting job but also graded well the Lions' final two games of the year. Probably a guy that's considered a good backup but would be a poor starter.
