The Rams are not going to use 3 picks in the first 5 rounds on Oline. The Rams have young oline coming out their ears. These guys need to be weeded and the survivors developed. Saffold and Robinson are starting OGs. So the OGs position is about depth at this point. They must have 6 or 7 OGs on their roster now that Robinson has been moved over. I have little doubt that beginning at their first OTA, one of the depth OGs is going to be tried out as a Center. I suspect that they will be looking towards Center in the draft but probably not until the 4th round.
They are going to pick up skill players in rounds 2 and 3. WR/TE/CB. They have a need for them and if the pundits are right, there's a lot of worthy WR/TE/CBs in this draft. Maybe maybe an outside chance of a OLB if someone with a very high grade falls to them and they can't pass him up. But I doubt it. When you have starter needs, and there's a potential rookie starter sitting there, you take him over a guy who is going to be depth for a year or two.
TE is a major need.
Center of course.
But surely they're not done at WR.
And I don't think they have the luxury of picking up another CB high (round 2)
But they are probably thinking about FS somewhere in there.
