disagree about Johnson factoring in

March 21, 2017 03:13AM
I think whether they trade Johnson, keep him under the tag just this year, or sign him long term they could still very well draft a CB at #37. It's a great draft for CBs and if the value is there and some CB considered one of the top 30 players in the draft is there at #37 I wouldn't mind at all. Keep in mind Joyner and Gaines are UFAs next year so unless they extend Johnson long-term they'd go into 2018 with Webster the only guy coming back (not counting Jordan or Hill). Plus it's not a given that Webster will be a starter.

I suspect WR, TE, DE, OLB/ILB, CB and FS are all possibilities among their top 3-4 picks. I wouldn't rule out a RB in the 6th or 7th.
