", but more and more we are seeing 3-4 and multiple front teams find a way to get their most talented interior rusher at the 3-technique. Calais Campbell is typically thought of as being a prototypical base 3-4 end, a 5-technique, but the Cardinals lineman spent over half of his snaps in 2014 as a 3-tech."
Not as a dedicated 3-tech. There is a big difference, in nickle, where he's played his whole career, he's often on shoulder of guard and in recent years in Bear/sink or whatever they call it, that's a defense with 2 3-techs.
You were better off watching some tapes rather than using Google to find "Cambell" and "3 technique"
The point and trust me, I am right on this, Campbell is not a dedicated 3-tech in their base defesne. PFF is fine for some things, but in the link you cite, they are not being as thorough as it needs to be. When you watch the all-22 replays you will see what their defense does... and he is NOT a 3-tech in their base, just as I said
But, if you want to debate it futher, define your terms, and post some stills, or clips. Then, maybe I can learn from you,
