Whereas I've watched Smith-Schuster for the past 3 seasons here at USC, I've only seen Godwin once in this year's Rose Bowl. After his spectacular performance there, I started reviewing more of his PSU highlights.
Thereafter, it would appear to me that both are similar players. But after seeing Godwin record a 4.42 40 at the combine, I have to give him the edge. His PSU highlights wouldn't have suggested that kind of speed, but I think that was more a function of his QB's "noodle-arm" (yes, there IS such a thing).
Whereas I don't believe that Juju will be able to stretch the field, I believe that Godwin might.
