Re: nice, coach !

appreciate the insight on Pat E.
btw, thus far the snaps I've seen on Fuller haven't made me a fan. but you can't coach length.

As far as Elfein, the ohio st pro day is this week, and they'll be every team rep'd there. Just reading through some notes on Pat; one thing that jumps out is that he's very good on the shotgun snaps. A valuable asset. I think of the stinking memories I have of Scott Wells twice bad long snapping over the QBs head in the same game; essentially ruining any chance to win. Simple, fundamental portions of the game that when fouled up are the icebergs to the Titanic

I've only seen one mock with us snapping up Feeney. As of now, that would be our highest pick based on trends. Just can't see it as of now. The club has serious roster depletion at WR and TE on offense. Of course, there were trends in drafts that we had on Fisher. We don't have that right now with the new guy.

Agree on Sullivan. Might be a low key, low cost stop gap. In a way, a bit surprised they haven't made that move. Which may be indicative of the distaste for the guy?

the ohio state kid gets high grades for being nasty. yet your note about letting guys into the backfield is unnerving. Barnes was killed this last season. honestly, in hindsight, sitting in the stands I can remember so clearly still the utter calamity with the interior of the line repeated falling apart. Both on run downs and passing downs.

Hope that Kromer has some game day fixes with this group.
There's 3rd year players that either show or go? Brown, Wichmann, Donnal. With Robinson due to fit to the right somewhere, and forecasting new bodies coming through the draft; not everyone has a job.

What intrigues me about Toth is his feet, he has great feet just needs to get stronger. Pat Elflein is very smart as well and has great hand placement, but my concern with Elflein is durability and his feet, his feet become heavy allowing defensive linemen to work around the edge and get into the backfield. I understant they met with Fuller and Chase Roullier, but they also met with Indiana's Guard Dan Feeney who they could very well move the Center as well.

IMHO I could see them signing John Sullivan as a stop gap and drafting Toth or Roulier for example to give them a year and then move from there. I would agree I like Toth the most, however, IMO, what they like about Fuller is his size and length, his arms are over 34 inches long and has the frame to handle the bigger nose guards. I feel good about this because I truly believe with Aaron Kromer the Rams will pick the right guy.
