I don't know, maybe Benny Cunningham doesn't fit the mold they want. But Dunbar sure wouldn't seem to be an upgrade over him at all. Benny's been more productive (and durable) in 4 years than Dunbar has in 5. And he's also been one of the top 5 KOR guys in the league. That's not an insignificant thing to replace.
I like Benny too, but this isn't really a replacement IMO, this is just a different type of back with different skill set.
Brown is more of the BC replacement IMO.
Benny ended the year on IR with neck issues also, so it's not surprising they are going in a different direction.
