Simply filling the Center hole is not the way to go

I don't think the Rams are going to sign a guy only because he's played at Center and he's available.
If they wanted a guy to fill a hole, they had one in Barnes.

The Rams need to get better there. So while I really don't know who beyond Mangold is better than what we had (and Mangold apparently has a serious ankle problem), I'd rather they not spend precious cap money for a guy who doesn't upgrade the Oline. No better for more money is not a good idea.
