No they do not play a different defense. Not in terms of what matters to THIS discussion. Both teams have what is at the core a 1-gap 3/4. That's all that matters. That debate already took place.
Just declaring it won't work "just because" isn't an argument.
I said they ARE considering it, and that we don't know yet if they can stick to it. In terms of just the raw physical ability, both DB and MB are converted safeties, and one played ILB, and the other is being projected at ILB.
