My point is are both going to be number one overall selections? Darnold looked extraordinary and checks all the boxes, but how about we give him at the very minimum another year before making him the next Sam Bradford...Don't get me wrong I love the kid, but so many things can happen and I look forward to next year's USC/UCLA game to see which Field General is the last one standing.
They can't both be number one selections? And if they happen to both come out the same year and go top 10, do you think it changes my point?
Both are "probably" going to be near the top of draft boards when they declare. Their WR's in college shouldn't suffer playing with them. That's the point.
