Barron is a "scheme" specific player and even in that "specific" scheme he wore down in the second half of the year.
Barron came from a traditional 4-3 under scheme that ran the Tampa 2 about 40% of the snaps and he couldn't cover.
When he came to the Rams Williams used him VERY differently than Wade's defense will.
Barron would have to play the MO in Wade's defense quite different than playing safety in Williams 30 dime.
Very different functions and it will be very interesting to see how he holds up.
As far as the Barron Deon comparison, its a false equivalency.
Wade's one gap vs the hybrid 3-4 scheme, which incorporates a lot of 4-3 in Arizona's scheme.
Barron is overpaid IMO and doesn't have a lot of value in a traditional 4-3 or 3-4 system.
Wade's gonna have to copy some stuff.
btw when is coach speak just coach speak? When its convenient I guess. Shrug
