every year is an amazing trek of players you draft guys offer up that make for such fun.
sometimes I'm happy that I know a few, and feel great when they play as well as I perceive them to be. Sterling Sharpe comes to mind.
I've been on the sad side of that, too. Nothing reminds me more of that than Mardy Gilyard.
the number of players with great talent that fall through the cracks astonishes every year, too.
this year appears to be no different. remember so well that when they took Higbee. I had some real leanings toward guys like Jatavis Brown and KJ Dillon both guys that were prospects you guys came up with.
Add in that David Morgan the tight end, sure looked terrific. And I felt he'd be a fit for us.
this year will be no different.
btw, I am curious to see how some of our second year guys do with a full off season.
Marqui Christian is one of them.
some guys I have my eyes on......
Jake Butt; smart guy, won't be ready to play for a long while. coming to the combine for interviews. think he falls a long way.
Vince Biegel LB. another smart player, and would be a good add later on. a find by you guys, but hard to ignore
Jon Toth center. very teachable, imo. just how long does he last, and can he start? again, you guys find this kid, and we need talent at center. BAD.
Fred Ross WR. here's a kid that is totally the draft guys here that pointed out he could succeed in a big way.
Ben Boulware LB. not going to be a combine killer, but much like Bryce Hager, a footballer. like guys like him.
Adam Bisnowaty OT curious to see just how stinky the entire ot class may be. someone, one of these guys is going to be a player that lasts on Sunday. That won't all be dirt eaters? or will they.
Samaje Perine RB. an interesting class of RBs. I see James Connor as being a real target for us. Cunningham is a free agent. Bennie could find work on a playoff team, and may just want that.
