yep and I vaguely remember that the reasons the helmets and uniform colors did not match, is because the helmet manufacture had the patient for that color and wouldn't share/sell it's formula with the uniform manufacturer. Or something like that.
Always bugged me .
To me, the closest/best year is the 79 home jersey.
