Its just been a school of thought in the NFL for so long regarding protecting the qb's blindside, because the best pass rusher historically lined up to that side.
good theory ... but doesn't the "blind side" itself beg for better protection? ... after all ... who is gonna have the QB's back if the best O-Lineman on the team doesn't?
I think that the QB having the confidence that his best guy affords him the luxury of ignoring the blindside which gives him more focus on the 3-5 players running routes.

the video doesn't show how good his hands really are. I think he can be the next Danny Amendola.... with Chris Carter's hands... and then some.
