Sorry, I guess I'm just tired of that supposedly being an argument against them wearing the Ferragamo's. The problem with the current throwbacks is that they don't have the proper thickness/width/length of the other end of the horns going down the body of the jersey.
Couldn't have said it better myself. The horns HAVE TO be on the jersey. The thickness has been an issue for years on both the jerseys and helmets. Thicken up the horns and run them down UNDER the arm to the rib cage and it will be fine. As Ramgator said, take away the horns and they are just another college/HS team with a cool helmet. They would become JAU (Just Another Uni). Waaaay to boring with just stripes on the jersey.
The way the horns (which most ram fans were attracted to in the first place) incorporated into the design of the jersey was GENIUS. We were fine until our gal Georgia put her "stamp" on them.
Time to "Make the Rams Great Again". Let's start with the uni's. (It will be a lot quicker than waiting for the team to get better lol)
