Wondering if the Rams would have been better off sending 2 1st rounders to Waahington last year rather than sending 6 draft picks (which included 2 1st rounders) for Goff?
First off, for those down-playing what the Rams gave up in the trade by trying to minimize it, here is the trade verbatim:
"Tennessee sent the top selection along with its fourth- (No. 113) and sixth-round (No. 177) picks this year to the Rams in exchange for Los Angeles' first-round pick (No. 15), two second-round selections (Nos. 43 and 45) and a third-round pick (No. 76) in 2016. The Titans also will get the Rams' first- and third-round picks in 2017."
What the Rams "got" besides Goff is picks 113 & 177, which is to say very little. What they gave up however, is monumental.
Cousins while not a super star, is a guy you can win a championship with I believe, which is Goff's ceiling "someday" (I pray!) so yes I would LOVE to have that do-over.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
