Does not seem to have the pro skill set at WR - but might be a useful weapon as a pass-catching, change of pace RB. Only question is can he mentally handle blitz pickup - when to stay in and block and when to drift out.

Although he could be used as a third down back, you don't take him off the field on 1st and 2nd down...too many teams respect him as a threat and he opens things up for others.

So, IOW, Tavon is a $42 million decoy? Kinda...

Not the best bang for our buck, if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure we'll have a better offensive scheme this year...that should help get our money's worth out of TA.

I could see him in the Chris Thompson / Jamison Crowder role in McVey's offense.

Blue and Gold175February 16, 2017 12:29PM

promomasterj152February 16, 2017 12:51PM

Slots can be small, but they need to run good routes

Blue and Gold140February 16, 2017 12:56PM

what about 1st and 2mnd downs?

Hazlet Hacksaw158February 16, 2017 01:10PM
