If they hadn't drafted Goff and Keenum was just their guy all year they'd be in the mix now to trade for Garropolo. I would not spend a top-25 pick on either Trubisky or Watson

I liked Garropolo a lot coming out. I wanted them to select him in the 2nd round. But I don’t know if he’s the answer. Apart from the missing draft picks, I feel much better about Goff than Garropolo.

I agreed with the strategy last year. We just have to hope they got it right with Goff.
