On one sense, he put up very good numbers on the worst NFL offensive team in decades.
But, when you the watch game, there were so many times, nobody even covered him because of the 9 in the box to stop Gurley. Lots of single coverage or no coverage in some soft zone.
I would try to keep him another year if possible in case the light bulb did go on especially since the Rams have not had anybody get over 800 yards in 10 seasons other than Britt. You have a player that finally had some kind of success, I would want to keep him.
But it is hard to ignore that the rest of his career was season after season of underachieving with average results.
