Because he can look at GR all offseason, mini camps, training camps, preseason and all that to see if he is worth it..........
And as pointed out he costs the same on the roster or off of the roster.
I guess I am overly optimistic but I sincerely think there will be several players on the Rams roster that wIll look a lot better next season thanks to better (Much Better!) coaching!
