Skins have no other options, they've made the PO's w/KC who has put up big numbers and won over the team that is in win-now mode.
All fluff but no chance of happening.
If Cousins is a FA, it's at least possible. I don't really know his situation. I agree that it doesn't seem possible but if the Redskins piss him off before a contract is in place, he may want to test the FA market. He may want to do that anyway.
I think he stays in Washington but it's a bit bizarre that the situation has got this far if he's really the Redskins franchise QB.
He played under the tag last year and in a worse case scenerio he would be tagged again this year at 120% of top QB's but he'll get his long term deal I bet.
And of course it COULD happen, just like the rams "could" trade for Brady, Rodgers, etc...but they won't and Cousins won't be leaving DC this off season either.
PS That idiot Colin Cowturd is insistant that if Brady loses tomorrow and plays poorly the Pats will trade him this off season and go forward with Jimmy G. Current odds on that happening you ask??? .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001
Sorry RFIP, I put the blame on you for even listening to Cowherd.
I agree that Cousins leaving the Redskins is very unlikely but my impression from players in general is that they hate getting tagged. If they string Cousins along long enough or do the wrong thing, he may want to leave out of spite alone.
