agree with LMU
hard to assess what we have for a 3-4 structure
Wade has been successful.
using draft stock to convert to the format is rough business.
across the board it makes sense to draft safety and corner only because I can wrap my head around it.
corner is heavy at the top it appears, and thins out. Safety seems like good year in later rounds. Wonder about Bubba, and what of Jackson the Tide safety?
Buddha Baker is slotted round 2 right now from what I see ... Jackson around the 4th. I like Jackson, I'd take Nacua over him though. I considered him for this mock, though.
reviewed some draft ops and using Alyo's ruler, it does look like a tough year at OT; in fact, there's some questions about some of the guys I like at guard, too.
I read where a guy plays well, but suffers from off field stuff, or weight, or lethargy, even learning issues.
Yes I've heard the same. I know it's bad when the linemen keep moving all over the mocks, because they are trying to fiull the needs but bad news keeps coming up about all of them.
didn't even remember seeing Fred Ross, Alyo, but he has some impressive remarks online.
I remember him younger on Miss St, one of my favorite underbulldogs ... and he was inconsistent. Then he started pulling it together last year and had a great year with Dak. Then they switched to a freshman who ran more .. and he kinda got lost, but his routes and power are stronger. Like he has the feet of a smaller WR playing the slot often but is 6-2 205.
Then there's some guys I like. Leggett TE, Mixon RB, Seth Russell........sure would like to have had that first rounder this year.
Leggett is a first round talent, no idea why guys like everett and Njoku are being listed higher. Mixon, if he answers the questions about the assault well is a first round talent, too.
