I have to say no. He is now in the category of Gordon, Blackmon and every other trouble player fighting addictions and losing the battles despite the masses who pulled for them.
Denial is a horrible enabler and facilitator and will take anyone in their path down with them.
I would steer clear and pray once they hit bottom they will look up and find happiness in life that is not complicated by the trappings of their former employment. Love self and life enough to get better and stay better.
I would offer that there are some QBs that are filling out rosters that may be available beyond future drafts and players that are young and who in the right hands could be more than serviceable.
The scenario you are concerned with can easily be met with more talented options but what you need is someone that fits the system, knows the system and is dying for a break. I would not worry about Rams carrying QBs anymore that have no viability. I am betting there will be someone on the roster that will be able to hold water.
Los Angeles Rams
Rap on.
