while part of the equation you dont hire him because you think hes a good play caller. you hire him because you think hes a good head coach. lots of very good play callers are not good head coaches. that being said, there are many people who have gone on record who believe hes a good coach period. he has a lot of positive qualities. is he too young? not enough experience? all valid questions but moot at this point. were gonna find out and im rooting for him to succeed. moreover, there are no guarantees. kyle shannahan may turn out to be the next norv turner.
