Blue and Gold
Quinn is a go forward guy, and has good hand moves...Miller, more straight line but also can drop and cover a back. In that defense Miller is a SAM backer that plays DE in nickel
Quinn, IMO, cannot drop, cover, do those things. QUinn would be more like DMarcus Ware was in Denver and Dallas..a DE that stands up, and IMO, if this all happens, Quinn can play that open side from a 3-point stance if he wanted to. There is no reason he has to stand up. I think Ware just preferred it. Yes, there are times the open end has to drop, but it's limited to maybe covering the flat...
It would be a waste of his talents. I could end up being wrong, but he's not Miller, or Mack. He's Ware or Bruce Irvin (Oakland plays similar hybrid 3-4 as Denver)
Anybody on this roster capable of that role???
Could Barron put on some wieght (10-20 lbs) and pull it off???
Tree???
