having cheap QB is big - value of Martz

January 15, 2017 05:04PM
The fact that the Cowboys will have a cheap QB for a few years that play at a high level is key.

One of the assets the Rams had was Martz's ability to coach up the QB with Bulger, Green, and Warner. 3 QBs from the scrap pile that played at a high level.

Once they had to be paid, salary cap decisions had to be made and Ziggy really blew the Little, Fletcher, Hakim situation.

The Cowboys though will have a cheap QB for a few years here and a big window. Although, I don't think it is as much coaching with this player. I think he has a very favorable situation and is very good. If he is, I give me credit to Garrett than Linehan because of history.
