At some point, you have to sign free agents and retain players. Obviously, the value card comes into play.
Can you put that money to better use with a different player? It really comes down to that.
But Johnson was awfully good at times on a defense that had to be on the field way too much. One corner, Jenkins, already gone.
Britt, well, that one is a hard one. 1000 Yards is pretty good on this horrific team, but I personally believe he had an easy pass with the 9 in the box on Gurley. I swear he was completely uncovered on many of those zone defensive schemes. I would really go back and watch film to make the decision on Britt as I think much of his success was a gift and of course evaluate his day to day taking care of business which none of us have any idea on his attitude and work ethic.
Again, is there a better choice out there in free agency for the same money for Britt.
