I've seen it enough times where a new HC comes in and turns a 4-12 team (or worse) into a winner with the same players.
A great example of this is what Vince Lombardi did with the Packers when he took over in 1959.
The Packers won 1 game in 1958 and were thought to have little talent. And they had HOFers like Bart Starr, Ray Nitchtke, Hornung, and Forrest Gregg already on the team. Lombardi went 7-5 in 1959 and had the Packers in the NFL title game in 1960.
My point here is that we don't really know for sure how bad the talent is because of Fisher.
