The Rise And Fall Of Rams RB Todd Gurley

As a rookie in 2015, Todd Gurley took the NFL by storm in his first four starts. However, there's been quite the drought since. Here’s why...

Like I've been saying since week 3, the guy just mentally checked out of the games. It looked an aweful lot like he was trying to make his teammates look bad. It happens subconsciously at times when you are on a losing team, with losing players. It became more and more obvious as the year went on when he would run into the back of his lineman that had provided a small hole and would jump up and point at the lineman and shake his head. He would just stand there staring at the line or at his QB's after a sack happened instead of getting back to the huddle with everyone else.

Gurley alienated himself from his team on the field and reading some comments by the players hint tot he fact that they were not happy with him. After the Giants game I posted that if he was my teammate id ask for him to answer for his emotions. I don't care if I was a defensive player, I put guys against the wall if they acted like that in public. The culture in the Rams clubhouse is that of a loser. As a man who broke myself trying to just play a game with minimal talent I absolutely burn while looking at this stuff.

New coaching regime is needed. These guys need to be told that they are losers and to prove otherwise.

Thank you for sharing this article my dude. Good stuff.

Laram
