Rams43 why is it personal? I never was in love with GW either, but come on. What do we really know about what happened? There are some who loved Linny and all he got was an opportunity with the Lions, a loser organization...then he is on losing team for all but one year there. What hypocrisy.
If you think Williams is that bad maybe no one would hire him...seems to have gotten a job pretty quick . . .

Actually, I've been a GW supporter on this board, although I have pointed out that he seems to get too cute with his packages at times.
I was merely pointing out that he jumped onto the Browns' offer PDQ. I am unaware of him having even a single interview with any other team, much less a job offer.
As I posted, it kinda APPEARED that he was overly anxious and simply pounced on the first offer that was whispered. And that from arguably the worst owner in the NFL.
Wasn't personal at all. TBH, I was hoping that our new HC would want to keep GW.
In any case, I think GW could have done a helluva lot better than working for the Browns and Haslam.
