A guy who runs a tight ship and stops that country club atmosphere around Rams park.
I do not think that a young coordinator is the way to go at this time. Sure you can get lucky and find the next BB or Lombardi but odds are stacked against it.
I would go to a proven HC plus a new OC to tutor Goff. Harbaugh would be ideal as HC but too bad he is not available.
The new OC can be a proven vet like Turner or a young innovative guy . Just make sure he knows QBs and can built around Goff and Gurley.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Rams absolutely need a strong leader, dodger.
This is where it gets interesting, at least to me.
The current favorites seem to be Shanahan, McVay, and McDaniel. Possibly even in that order.
All whiz bang OC's.
Sooooo...
I think it's gonna be fascinating to see which OC's they might hire. Because it's a virtual certainty that each will have his own hands in the new O, especially the development of Goff.
Will they want yes men as OC's?
Will the new HC's be actually calling the plays ala Sean Payton?
Or will they be CEO types?
Or maybe something in between?
