Here is my hope for the center position going into the offseason. To safe a draft pick for other areas of need, I think the Rams have to sign J.C. Tretter of the Packers. He was playing phenomenally before missing the rest of the season after week eight with an MCL sprain. At the time, he was the 5th graded center in the entire league and was showing it in his play. Rodgers was one of the most protected QBs this season. Why would a team let that get away with a QB like Rodgers to protect? His backup, Corey Linsley, came in and played even better, didn't even give up a sack or quarterback hit on more snaps played than Tretter. Linsley is signed for one more year while Tretter is a free agent and will only be 26 next month. This would be one of the biggest offseason signings they could get and I think it would be huge for their unit and even bigger for their draft plans. He went to Cornell as well, so you know he's got some smarts.
