While i understand the logic there is no guarantee Goff becomes Brees. Is he as competitive as Brees? Is he the same type of leader? Does he have the same kind of chip on his shoulder? Brees is special HOF level QB there is a lot that goes into that
I certainly dont have an issue with Payton as an offensive mind but IMO it is critical that he is teams with a top notch GM/FO exec and of course a good dcoordinator
