1) We are NOT in desperate need of picks. We will probably have 8 of them, actually.
2) As others have pointed out, we could not get anywhere near value for Gurley in a trade now. So it would be foolish to practically give him away in a needless fire sale.
3) Gurley will be just fine after new coaches have fixed the OL and tweaked game planning and techniques. He WAS the OROY just last year, after all.
4) Between the 8 picks, a shrewd trade or two, and aggressive FA moves, the incoming staff can do wonders with this roster.
All they've gotta do is hit a HR with their HC and GM selections. Lol.
