Is anyone else concerned that Goff's throws have been less than accurate and more than 50% of his passes are short or over thrown wobbly ducks? I watched that last pass he threw on Saturday that got intercepted and it looked like a bad high school QB with small hands threw it. Even though Quick ran a sloppy route. That pass looked horrible.
Is he gripping the ball differently in the pros? What is Weinke teaching the guy? Did he have a problem throwing tight spirals in college? Is the Wilson's NFL football bigger than the official college ball? I'm wondering if those smalls hands are effecting his accuracy. It's like he is over gripping the ball and trying to throw it as hard as he can. I guess that bad offensive line is making him a nervous wreck where it is effecting his throwing motion and grip on the ball.
I went to the Rams training camp in Irvine this year and I noticed how his passes have zip but are often wobbly ducks. Sean Mannion on the other hand threw with zip and most of his passes are tight spirals.
