It's not about the "stats" so much as it is how they are operating in the NFL system as rookies. So far Goff, unfortunately, has demonstrated all the earmarks of an Air Raid trained college QB who is learning how to play the position all over again in the NFL. He couldn't get on the field for 11 weeks despite playing behind nobody and when he did he has not looked ready to be on the field.
Doesn't mean he won't improve in leaps and bounds over the next off season, but if you're looking for useful indicators, that's it.
