Fisher requires Snead to evaluate "Fisher type" players. No others need be considered.
Then Fisher picks the players.
Same for trades. (Tavon, for example). (Pead/Watkins, Bradford/Foles, for a couple more)
Same for FA moves. (Finnegan, Cook, for example)
Then Fisher develops and best utilizes them (or not). For example, GRob, Quick, Bailey, Mason, Gurley, Havenstein, Brown, Goff. Draftees from the top 3 rounds that HE picked, mind you.
Then, when these many players for 5 consecutive years struggle, you want to beat the hell out of Snead?
Whose fingerprints are all over these decisions and less than mediocre results? Only one guy, and his name is Jeff Fisher. C'mon, man...
I will agree with you on one thing, though. I think hiring a consultant such as Polian or Wolf to point Kroenke/Demoff in the right direction for a GM hire would be the smart play. If I understood la correctly, that is what they have already started.
