Most glaringly on the O-line, but also in the secondary. Our biggest "hit" in the secondary IMO was Jenkins, who is now pro-bowling it on the other side of the country. Hitting on Gurley and Donald (and Hekker and to a lesser extent, Big Z and Benny C) are simply feathers in his cap. To use a college metaphor, I can ace a few tests and a homework assignment here and there, but fail the course due to many other areas of abysmal work.
Snead's just got to go.
Remember, ARF, that we'll never know how many of Snead's recommendations were overridden by Fisher. But I'm sure that there were quite a few.
Then there is the fact that Snead was required to find "Fisher type" players. Might have created a self fulfilling prophecy situation, you know?
Besides, should we be crucifying Snead when Fisher fails to develop rookies?
However, I do now believe that Snead will be gone. This organization needs a strategic thinking "football exec" GM rather than just a glorified Director of Personnel. Hopefully, a Reggie McKenzie type.
