They HAVE exploited Tavon's skills.
Those ARE his skills.
Which is why you don't treat him like a pure receiver. He's not that.
He's a combined runner, receiver, decoy with a nice set of things he can do. This year they didn't use all of those things.
To me, the idea that he will somehow do more as a receiver with different coaching is just never going to pan out. It's looking at the issue the wrong way and expecting things that will not lead anywhere.
He does not have the instincts nor the type of physical play you expect to see out of an ACTUAL receiver. For example he's never going to make "qb saving" catches outside his body frame. You put it in his hands. Goff can do that better than Keenum and Foles could so that's not an issue.
