Well I can satisfy your standards of the test then. Quinn's last game in 2015 was week 10. He finished with five sacks, two QB hits, and 12 QB hurries for a total of 19 QB pressures. Donald played his best football last season from week 10 on, I'd imagine he saw more teams helping with him too. His four worst games last season were weeks 3-7, with week six being a bye week. Without counting week 10, Donald had five sacks, 17 QB hits, and 23 QB hurries for a total of 45 QB pressures. That would be half of Quinn's best 16 game season in seven games. And again, this is from the interior.
Don't get me wrong, Quinn is probably my favorite player and I hope he gets right at his young age and is helathy for all of next season. He is a game changer. I'm just saying, Donald has surpassed him in the most dominant lineman on the team.
The first 10 games the Rams were on pace to have a franchise low in sacks, hits and hurries with Williams dropping lineman in coverage and running 3-man fronts.
Donald came on (As Quinn would have) when Fisher took the reins of the defense from Williams and stopped all that exoctic crap.
Quinn get's ff's has scored himself, and get's the offense more opportunities.
I value game changing and possession changing plays more.I pray that Quinn gets healthy again and reclaims his throne.
Best,
Laram
