I liked the Mannion pick for what it was worth but way over that. He is not close to Goff in skill and ability. He will not be starting for Rams in 2017 or beyond and I am not looking to go backwards. Austin Davis? Nick Foles? Case Keenum. If any of those guys could fit our next HC system as a consolation it would be a joke and we might as well have stayed with Fisher. Let's not get to philosophical and forget the facts. Goff is the guy for our immediate future and any suggestion beyond that is just whimsical spit balling or for some wishful thinking.
