You don't seem to know that Vincent Bonsignore is a
columnist. No, seriously! Part of what he does for his job is write columns - that feature his
opinions. He is not a straight reporter or an impartial journalist, as your standards for him seem to suggest you think he is.
You don't like his "editorializing" (again -
his job) - because he disagrees with you.

This is mostly in response to ZN. Vinny was the pro football writer for the LA Daily News, a well read news paper in the Los Angeles area. Vinny writes not only for the Daily News but the OC Register and one other publication here in the Southland. Plus he's been on Sports talk radio here local for a few years now.
Vinny is not just a columnist but he is a beat writer covering the Rams and pro football. He's far more logical and non-biased in his reporting then Bernie Mikalasz ever was. Better reporter then Bernie too. Vinny is at Rams park and Rams practice in Thousand Oaks CA everyday.
Vinny did a bang up job covering the NFL relocation story in 2014 and 15 and he still reports on happenings with the Raiders and Chargers relocation efforts even today.
If he's guessing he is basing those guesses on what he's learned.
Vinny is very, very tuned into the Rams. I trust what he writes.

It;s like this little patrol for Opinion Conformity.
And it happens this way--present credentials. As if all arguments are ad hominem. This guy is this, he's done that. He's job is this. It's the opposite with guys you disagree with--they're bad people, etc. Plus there's the opinion as fact stuff, so you end up telling me The Right Thing to Think.
And...I don;t give a flying damm about any of that. I think positive ad hominem arguments are beside the point and I think negative ad hominem arguments are worse than that.
The argument he makes in that article is silly, it's easy to see through, and I care about the argument, not his history, or whether or not you guys personally like him in an ad hominem way.
Which is why I saw nothing from y'all actually defending his words in that article.
And remember, I deliberately framed it this way--my points were whether or not you are pro- or anti- keeping Fisher. So all you really can do is do what I did--toss your vote in the informal poll fwiw. If you think that's good writing, I just vote differently. I was actually laughing out loud reading it.
The difference between us on just this one kind of issue is probably this---on my board, where I post a bunch of different articles, I posted that one too. I never just post "what I agree with."
