If there is anybody on this board arguing that winning doesn't matter to Stan, I haven't seen them. Maybe I've missed it or maybe you continue to misrepresent it.
You also appear to be implying that Fisher's future with the team coming down to these last 4 games makes some kind of reasonable sense that could justify the extension. As if it can or should have the ability to tip the balance of the previous 76 in his favor. And you talk about sanity in the process. That's pretty interesting stuff.
