I honestly believe that. I think we are playing well below our ceiling due to erratic, desultory coaching.
This and if players could have just made a play or two... Detroit game was lost on the fourth and goal from a foot out before halftime, the Giants game was lost off the hands of Tavon and the pick six and the Miami game was lost on a missed FG by GZ that would have put them up 13-0 and sealed the game IMO . That's sitting at 7-4 right now if just a couple plays went our way, but that's the NFL and you win and lose games on a play or two in most games....yes, you are what your record says, but it could have been much better, easily. Besides the Saints and Niners game the Rams were in every game. This team is close, just needs more discipline and maybe a solid coach and a player or two away from being a perrenial playoff team very soon. I believe that.
