Not sure if this means anything...but I'd say it's encouraging.

If it is completely innocent, the timing seems odd.

I don't follow college ball, but I know he has had a very successful run at Stanford (63-17).

And though his last name is "Shaw,' at least his first name isn't "John."

So that's all good enough for me.

I say hire him.

Like, right now.

Shaw Visits Rams

Shaw has been one of the best coaches in the Pac 12. His teams are physical and dominating and he's done okay with QBs Hogan was not a bad college QB and I believe Shaw was at Stanford when Andrew Luck was there. He's a solid coach.

I think this is significant. Could be a ploy to get more money out of the administration at Stanford or it could be legit. Shaw has never openly connected himself with any pro team in the past. He may not be the next Rams coach but its more then coincidence that he showed up at Rams park at this time.
