perfect example of importance of Raiders drafting a QB is 1968 draft ... Raiders had 1967 MVP QB on their team, yet they use their 1st round pick on a QB, and then they used their 2nd round pick on a QB (Kenny Stabler) More to this story but I don't want to bore you.
When someone special comes along at QB, you don't pass on him.
oh and here is an interesting tidbit of trivia ... Raiders current GM, Reggie McKenzie was a scout for the Packers in 1994 ... and remember who he invited to the Packers training camp? It was THE one and only Kurt Warner.
