WR Nelson Spruce was placed on injured reserve today, thus ending his season. An undrafted free agent, Spruce injured his knee towards the end of a big performance in the preseason opener, then came back, then injured his calf. Could've been a nice possession receiver, but wasn't active for any regular-season games. DB Blake Countess (originally a sixth-round pick by the Eagles this year) promoted from the practice squad. DE Lenny Jones (previously with the Raiders) signed to practice squad.
