however its inconceivable to me that a veterans oline coach doesnt understand blocking assignments. there needs to be a reason that GROB is coached to ignore the DE on that play. Not being an oline coach myself, I dont know what that would be but it cant being because Boudreau is simply inept. is it possible that the jets just had the right defense called against that particular play? Again, I understand the offense is struggling, but lets look for real reasons and not scapegoat players and coaches.
In addition, the rams did makes some adjustments int he second half so you cant ignore the cherry picking here. in the second half, the rams actually started to have some success running the ball. We are so focused on who does what wrong. But i think its also illustrative to figure out who was doing what right in the second half.
my point i guess, is lets not throw the baby out with the bath water. personally i like gurley. and kenny britt is ranked 11th in wr yard. i crazy thought, i know! as i fan, i want to know how to get this running game fixed and i think this team would be a whole lot better.
