Keep Jenkins, let Jenkins walk. McCloud stay or go. Westbrooks or Sam. MLB Ogletree.

I have no qualms because year after year, I see that the Defense plays hard, is very capable of hanging with anyone. He earns the benefit of the doubt.

With the offense, it really looks like the guy DOESN"T KNOW what the hell he is doing. Year after year, his offenses string together too many games where they simply don't muster any type of credible offense.

How many years do we have to see this to say, THE GUY JUST ISN"T VERY GOOD with that side of the football. This is not unique to football, I see it in many professions. You hear GW saying he has to fit the players strengths to his scheme, not vice versa. But fisher doesn't appear to follow that type of advice when it comes to the Offensive side of the ball.

Fish, if GOD FORBID he stays, needs to hire someone with an ACTUAL TRACK RECORD of fielding good/decent offenses and stay the hell out of the way.

What sucks is that Fisher doesn't appear to even recognize that he doesn't know what he is doing. And by what he is doing, I mean virtually everything on the offensive side of the ball - player selection (Pead, Quick etc), coaching selection (Cignetti, Schotty, Boras (hows that for "continuity"winking smiley, and or game management.

So, and I only say this half jokingly. If Fisher says someone is "not ready", I think there is actually a good chance the guy will outperform. Because you know who was ready? Quick, Robinson, Tavon, Kendricks, Coach Boo, Coach Boras, Keenum, those guys already got the coaches seal of "readiness".

None of that makes any sense to me, and it doesn't account for the things I personally think have held the offense back. Look, a coach would have to be too stupid to be allowed to drive to actually not be able to tell when a qb is ready to play. Especially since he has input on that from the qb coach, passing coordinator, and offensive coordinator. It;s not just him.

It sounds FAR more likely to me that upset fans would come up with crazy theories, than the idea that there would ever be a coach at any time in the NFL history, including now, who was actually incapable of being able to tell when a qb is developed enough to start.

The far more likely explanation is also the simplest one. Goff is not ready to start.

Can Jared Goff save the Rams' offense?

RamBill967November 14, 2016 04:28AM

Maybe they can channel Goff's abilities into Keenum's body nm
